Nobody is turned away from Good Company because of money. Membership is free. If you're able to contribute something you're welcome to — but you never have to, and what you give (or don't) has no bearing on how you're treated here.

If you can, contribute what feels right

Some members choose to contribute a small amount, whatever feels fair to them. There's no suggested price, no tiers, no pressure. You decide.

What contributions support

• Keeping the community running — the basic costs of hosting, vetting, and organizing gatherings
• Making sure Good Company stays free for members who can't contribute right now
• Small acts of support between members when someone's going through a hard stretch

To be clear about contributions

Contributions to the community are voluntary: they don't buy you attention, priority, or a "better" experience inside the community, and they're not a subscription to access people. They simply help keep a good thing going. (Separately, if you'd like dedicated 1:1 time, there's an optional paid hire-a-friend service with fixed prices — that's a different thing from these voluntary community contributions.)

If you can give, thank you. If you can't right now, you're just as much a part of this community. That's the whole point.
