The Code
Good Company works because everyone in it agrees to a simple code. It's not complicated — it's just about being decent to each other.
Be kind
Assume good faith. Speak to people the way you'd want to be spoken to on your hardest day.
Show up
If you say you'll be there, be there. If a member reaches out because they're struggling, respond like you'd want someone to respond to you.
Keep it confidential
What's shared inside Good Company stays inside Good Company. People open up here because it's safe.
Respect boundaries
Every member decides how much they share and how close they get. No pressure, no guilt-tripping, no exceptions.
Strictly platonic
Good Company is a family, not a dating pool. Romantic or sexual pursuit of another member is not what this is for, and is not tolerated.
Protect the safety of the group
Harassment, discrimination, exploitation, or dishonesty about who you are can end your membership.
What is never allowed here
Good Company is a strictly platonic community and companionship service. To keep everyone safe, these things are not allowed and will end a membership or booking:
- No romance, sex, or escorting. This is friendly, platonic company only — never a dating service, never a sexual or intimate service, and never an escort or "sugar" arrangement. Requests for anything romantic, sexual, or intimate are declined and can end your access.
- No soliciting or sending money between people. Never ask a member or a companion for money, gifts, loans, or investments, and never send money to another member. Paid 1:1 bookings happen only through our own secure checkout — never person-to-person.
- Keep first contact on Good Company. For everyone's safety, arrange and hold your early contact here. Please don't push a companion or a member to private phone numbers, socials, or other apps within the first 90 days — a common pattern in scams and grooming.
- Safeguarding. If someone is in danger or at risk of harm, help them reach people trained to help (see Safety & crisis resources) and tell us. Companionship is never a substitute for therapy, medical care, or emergency services.
Breaking the code isn't taken lightly. The operator of Good Company reviews concerns personally, and membership or a booking can be paused or ended to protect the rest of the community.
