Terms of use
Last updated 29 July 2026.
Good Company is a members-only community for platonic friendship and mutual support, and it also offers a paid 1:1 "hire a friend" service (a call, a hangout, or a travel companion). The service is provided by the operator of Good Company ("we", "us"). By applying, joining, or booking, you agree to these terms and to our community guidelines.
Who can join
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. Members are personally interviewed before joining; a government-ID check is optional (ID-verified members carry a badge). Membership is at our discretion and may be paused or ended if the community guidelines are broken.
What Good Company is not
Good Company is strictly platonic — friendly companionship and conversation only. It is not a dating, romantic, sexual, intimate, escort, or "sugar" service, and any such request is declined and can end your access. It is also not therapy, counseling, medical care, or a crisis or emergency service, and your friend or companion is not a licensed professional. If you are in crisis, see Safety & crisis resources or contact your local emergency number.
Member & companion conduct
Everyone agrees to be kind, keep things strictly platonic, never solicit or send money between people, respect confidentiality and boundaries, and be honest about who they are. For safety, please keep your early contact on Good Company and don't move a companion or member to private numbers, socials, or other apps within the first 90 days. Never send money to another member.
Bookings, payments & refunds
A first intro session is free. Paid 1:1 sessions are pay-what-you-can: you choose an amount, we confirm the booking, and only then do we send a secure crypto checkout link (via NOWPayments) — you are not charged before that. You can cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund. See our refund & pay-what-you-can note for details.
Contributions
Membership is free. Any contribution is voluntary and does not purchase access, priority, or services.
